AI causes a profound change in professions and skills and provides a wide employment opportunity for highly qualified graduates. In France, the digital industry could seek about 7,500 additional specialists in AI & Data Science over the period 2019-2023, for a total population increased from 11,200 to 21,000 people (+59%), according to the new study "Training and skills on Artificial Intelligence in France", commissioned by Syntec Numérique and conducted by OPIIEC (November 2019).
European Union has embarked on the race to become a world leader in Artificial Intelligence systems: a European market for proprietary data by 2030, 4 to 6 billion euros of investment for secure and environmentally-friendly Cloud infrastructures and systems that enable the reuse of European data, with the aim of attracting more than 20 billion euros of investment per year over the next ten years.
The job market is therefore forecasting a sharp increase in demand for AI and Data experts. And this demand is expected to continue and intensify with the evolution of AI markets around the world.
