Internships allow students to develop a career plan that suits them throughout their studies.
Internships are mandatory and add real value to students' resumes. They enable students to develop skills and interpersonal skills, thereby increasing their level of responsibility and ensuring their successful integration into the workforce once they graduate.
The internship
These periods spent in companies, during which students actively participate in the activities of their host organization, are a real opportunity for them to:
  • gradually apply the knowledge acquired through school education
  • prepare for the realities of the business world even before graduating: they learn about hierarchical structures, teamwork, professional conduct, etc.
  • clarify their career plans and prepare for their integration into the sector of their choice

Finding an internship: personalized support

From the start of the academic year, students receive support in their efforts to find internships and develop their career plans.

Internships: a well-defined legal framework

The student retains student status and must pay tuition fees; he or she is in initial training.

Once the internship agreement has been signed, the intern is entered in the host company's staff register but does not have employee status.

For internships in France, remuneration is mandatory when the intern's presence in the host company exceeds 308 hours (44 days), and the amount must be specified in the internship agreement. Below this duration, remuneration remains optional for the employer. For internships abroad, please refer to the applicable legislation.

The internship may not exceed 132 days of attendance at the company.
