Dr. Yasser ALMEHIO

Biography

Yasser Almehio is a tenured professor at aivancity and head of systems design at Valeo within the Research and Innovation department, where he leads an AI team in the VLS division. Previously, he worked as a computer vision engineer at Parrot. He earned his Ph.D. from Paris-Sud XI, where he also completed his postdoctoral research, focusing on image registration, video stabilization, and face recognition. During his studies, he was able to explore his diverse interests in: computer vision, machine learning/deep learning, image processing, compression, and NLP.
