Biography

A global leader in the field of networks, he is also a visiting professor at numerous international universities, including NCSU, Stanford, Rutgers, UQAM, and BUPT Beijing.

Author of over 200 scientific publications and around 20 books, and leader of development projects including the first Gbps network, the first ATM prototype, the first patents and prototypes for DPI and Wi-Fi controllers, Green Communication, and IoT security, among others.

He received the Grand Prize from the Academy of Sciences in 2013.
