Aivancity’s expertise can therefore be called upon in a wide range of sectors, including higher education and research, as well as to address societal issues, particularly those related to AI and data.

aivancity has become the only interest group registered with the National Assembly and the Senate under the law of December 9, 2016 (known as the Sapin II Law), which defines, lists, and regulates interest representatives. Interest representatives serve as a means for lawmakers to gather information on how the law is being implemented and on ways to improve it. Their work is also valuable in helping public decision-makers better understand the expectations of civil society.

In this regard, aivancity—thanks to its unique hybrid positioning as a school focused on artificial intelligence, business, and society, and to its expertise that places it at the forefront of current issues related to AI, AI ethics, and data—will be able to contribute to the discussions led by parliamentary committees and working groups.
