aivancity Civic Engagement Program in partnership with Impact Campus
This program, developed as part of aivancity's social mission, is part of a process aimed at training engaged citizens who are ready to take on the ecological and social challenges of the 21st century. Starting in the 2024 academic year, students in their second to fifth years will commit to at least 30 hours of volunteer work within organizations serving the public interest.

They will have until May 2025 to finalize their commitment. To facilitate their participation, Impact Campus has selected a wide range of associations in the Paris region, where aivancity is based. Students will be able to choose between a mission defined by Impact Campus or propose their own civic engagement project.

This partnership enables students to engage in volunteer work serving the community, in line with aivancity's values of social and environmental responsibility. More than 200 students will participate in this first edition in 2024.

An impact-oriented program

Aivancity aims to train students who are technically competent and aware of societal issues.

Inspired by the ecological emergency and young people's growing desire to get involved, this program, developed with Impact Campus, puts students at the heart of the action.
  • Responsibility: Encouraging students to understand and take action on current social and environmental challenges. The program doubles the time dedicated to these issues so that each student can reflect on the impact of their decisions in a changing world.
  • Ethics: Encourage students to actively engage in causes of general interest. Through their assignments, they must participate in field activities, being in direct contact with beneficiaries. Whether in the field of education, the environment, or solidarity, this immersion is designed to transform theory into practical experience.
  • Employability: By developing soft skills and strengthening their professional posture through hands-on experience, the program aims to make them more well-rounded professionals. These practical immersions will give students a better understanding of the realities of the sectors in which they may work, while equipping them with the skills they need to navigate the complexities of the working world.
  • Local roots: Strengthening ties between aivancity and local stakeholders. In collaboration with Impact Campus, students will have the opportunity to get involved in local public interest organizations, thereby contributing directly to societal issues in their region. The goal is to move from global thinking to local action, allowing students to see the direct impact of their contribution in their community.

A flexible model tailored to students' needs

The missions offered by Impact Campus cover a variety of areas ranging from ecology to social solidarity, education, and culture. This wide range of choices allows each student to get involved according to their interests while contributing to the common good.

This partnership represents an opportunity for aivancity students to combine their academic learning with a concrete contribution to the major challenges of the 21st century.
