Dr. Tawfik Jelassi is Professor of Strategy and Technology Management and Program Director at the IMD Business School in Lausanne (Switzerland). Previously, he was Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Information and Communication Technologies in the government of democratic transition in Tunisia. He was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the telecom operator Ooredoo Tunisia, Professor and Dean at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, and Professor and Head of the Technology Management Department at INSEAD, Fontainebleau (France).

Prof. Jelassi holds a Ph.D. from New York University (USA). His research and teaching focus on digital transformation, business strategy and leadership. He has published numerous articles in specialised journals and seven books, the latest of which is entitled "Strategies for e-Business: Concepts and Cases on Value Creation and Digital Business Transformation" (Springer publishing, 2020). Dr. Jelassi has received numerous academic awards in the United States and Europe as well as two national decorations awarded by the Tunisian President: "Commandeur de l'Ordre de la République" and "Chevalier de l'Ordre du Mérite dans le domaine de l'éducation et des sciences".
